Can I refer a product that isn't my own business at the BNI meeting? Doesn't it break the category rule?+
Yes, within BNI policy. You're not selling Hub as YOUR product (you would be if you opened a Reimagine seat at the chapter), you're making a referral between members (which is literally what BNI promotes). You refer Hub the same way you'd refer an accountant, attorney, or vendor to another member. If your Chapter Director has questions, we provide a letter explaining the program.
If there's already a software or CRM member at my chapter, can I still be a Reimagine Ambassador?+
Yes. The one-seat-per-category rule applies to the business holding the 'software/CRM' category seat as a member. As an Ambassador affiliate you're not occupying a new category, you're referring an external product. It coexists without conflict with the current software member at the chapter.
How does the Education Slot work? Is it worth preparing a 10-minute talk?+
Yes, it's one of the highest-converting formats. Each BNI chapter opens 6 to 10 Education Slots per year (5 to 10 minutes at the start of the meeting), available for members to apply through the Education Coordinator. You apply, prepare based on the deck we ship, and present. This format alone can bring 5 to 10 signups per chapter when done well.
When should I ask for a 1-2-1 with a member vs let the referral happen at the meeting?+
1-2-1 is better for: a member who has a small business client or vendor but hasn't referred you Hub yet, a member who showed interest during your 60-Second, or a member who wants to join as a Level 2 affiliate. Regular meeting and post-meeting coffee is better for: a new chapter visitor, a quick referral during the break. Use 1-2-1 for higher-density conversations.
Can I invite other BNI members to become Reimagine affiliates? How does Level 2 work?+
Yes. That's Level 2 of the program. You invite a colleague BNI member (from your chapter or another), and for every business they refer you receive 1% of their monthly subscription without reducing anything from their 20%. At an active chapter with 10-15 members as affiliates, Level 2 can surpass direct commission.
Does TYFCB count Reimagine referrals? How do I log it?+
Yes, fully. TYFCB (Thank You For Closed Business) is the official BNI record of a closed deal via member referral. Every referred business that subscribes to Hub should be logged with the estimated annual plan value: $4,764 (Starter), $8,364 (Pro), or $14,364 (Elite). Will the client blame me if Hub doesn't meet expectations?+

Can I also refer outside BNI? Does the commission count?+
Yes. Your unique affiliate link works inside and outside BNI. Every referral that subscribes through your link generates 20% recurring, regardless of source. BNI is the most natural ecosystem (weekly structured referral culture), but you're not limited to it.
How does the co-branded card work? Does BNI USA need to approve?+
The cards use the 'Reimagine Ambassador' title with Reimagine visual identity, mentioning your BNI chapter (e.g., 'BNI Lider · Reimagine Ambassador'). The design respects BNI's visual identity rules. Individual cards do not require BNI headquarters approval. As you scale, we can arrange deeper institutional co-branding with BNI USA in specific chapters.
When do I receive my first commission?+
30 days after the referred business's first payment. If they paid on July 20th, your payout lands around August 19th. That window is standard processing and antifraud protection. From the second month on, commissions land monthly in a regular automatic cycle.
What if the referred business cancels Hub?+
Your commission on that business stops that month. You lose nothing retroactive. Cancellation is rare: Hub retention is high because the product keeps the client itself (guided setup, Newbie Mode, Elite custom builds). If the business returns 6 months later still attached to you, the commission resumes.
Can I start referring before I know Hub deeply?+
Yes. You sign up for free, receive the complete kit on Day 1 (videos, deck, flyer, 100 cards, FAQ) and get 30 days of structured follow-up. On the same day of signup you can make your first referral at the next meeting. Deep knowledge comes with practice, conversation by conversation.
Is this a pyramid scheme or MLM?+
No. In a pyramid, your income depends on recruiting other people who pay a fee to enter (and part of that fee goes to whoever invited you). Here: (1) Affiliate signup is 100% free, nobody pays anything to join. (2) Your 20% commission comes from Reimagine's revenue on the subscription of the client YOU referred, not from the affiliate who invited you. (3) The 1% Level 2 override is an incentive bonus to bring colleagues into the program, and it also comes out of Reimagine's revenue (it does not reduce what your recruit earns). (4) Bronze through Platinum tiers and the Reimagine Summit are prestige and annual rewards, not commission tiers. There is no N-floor structure above you. You must refer a real business owner who signs up for a real Hub plan to earn anything.
Do you guarantee monthly returns?+
No. The calculator simulates potential based on estimated conversion rates per channel persona, but there is no promise or guarantee of minimum income, maximum income, or payback period. Your commission depends on how many business owners in your audience or network actually sign up for Hub through your link, how long they stay active, and which plan (Starter, Pro, or Elite) they choose. You can refer 0 and earn $0. You can refer 200 and earn $30k per month recurring. There is no floor, no ceiling, no promise.
