Reimagine Digital Marketing was founded by Andre Alves together with his wife Dr. Kebar Y (PhD in Marketing). Andre is a Brazilian-American entrepreneur with over 25 years of business experience across the United States and Brazil. Dr. Kebar's doctoral research focused specifically on small business failure patterns, why most small businesses fail within their first two years, and which operational and marketing decisions separate the survivors from the casualties. Beyond her academic work, Dr. Kebar spent two years at Google and currently works at Meta (over one year and counting), bringing the inside perspective of both of the world's largest advertising platforms directly into every Reimagine engagement. That research plus platform expertise is the intellectual foundation of every Reimagine strategy. The founders also started Rocket Garage Door Services from scratch in 2023, built it through nearly two years of Google restricted-vertical purgatory, and now use it as the in-house laboratory where every strategy is tested before it ships to a client.

- **We own a contractor that survived Google's hardest gate.** Rocket Garage Door Services spent nearly two full years unable to run Google Ads and unable to display public reviews because garage door repair is a restricted vertical under Google Advanced Verification and a platform bug on the profile was silently swallowing reviews. Rocket Garage Door Services (Polk County, FL) is owned by Reimagine's founders and is our most transparent case study. Rocket launched in 2023 and immediately ran into two structural constraints that define restricted-vertical marketing: garage door repair is gated behind Google Advanced Verification (meaning no Google Ads until approval, which typically takes at least 6 months and in our case took nearly 2 years), and a platform bug on the Google Business Profile silently prevented reviews from posting publicly for almost the entire first 2 years of operation. What carried the business through that period was guerrilla acquisition (door hangers walked route by route, door knocking in target neighborhoods, referral partnerships with locksmiths and real estate agents, community engagement in local Facebook groups) and pure organic SEO held to a higher technical standard than most contractor sites.

## Founders

**Andre Alves** is a Brazilian-American entrepreneur with over 25 years of business experience. He is Reimagine's lead SEO specialist and handles Local SEO and Content and SEO personally on every client account. He is also a working programmer, web designer, and AI developer who codes client websites from scratch. In addition to running Reimagine he is the operator of Rocket Garage Door Services in Polk County, Florida.

**Dr. Kebar Y** holds a PhD in Marketing. Her doctoral research focused specifically on why most small businesses do not survive their first two years and which operational and marketing patterns predict the survivors. She spent two years working at Google and currently works at Meta (ongoing, over one year). The two largest advertising platforms in the world trust her expertise. That academic research combined with platform experience shapes the methodology behind every Reimagine engagement.
